In order to guarantee the best possible yield of the metal and therefore the cost-effectiveness of the refining process for highly pure aluminium, it is necessary to apply the preliminary processes of refining, alloying, and drossing. In the subsequent extrusion process, the metal mass of the aluminium billet is taken to the pasty phase, through heating, and then pressed through the shaped opening, which gives the profile the desired shape.
